Cheryl-Lynn Steernberg, M.A., Cnslg.Psych., R.P.C., M.P.C.P.
Cheryl-Lynn Steernberg holds a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology and is a registered professional Counsellor and a Master Practitioner of Counselling Psychology. She is a member of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) and The Canadian College of “Professional” Counsellors and Psychotherapists (CCPCP).
She has had a successful general private practice since 1992 and has created and taught a course entitled “Critical Tools for Working with Youth” which has been used by the community schools up and down the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia to train their youth workers. Ms. Steernberg has published the manual and it is available for use throughout North America by trained facilitators licenced by North Okanagan Counselling Services.
Ms. Steernberg does extensive research into the current modalities of counselling used to treat issues presented by her clients. Her expertise in dealing with marital and self-esteem issues have been extremely successful in helping her clients through issues presented by both problems and her research keeps Ms. Steernberg completely up to date with the most current and effective treatment modalities.
Ms. Steernberg is the mother of two adult children and the grandmother to a handsome grandson and beautiful granddaughter, She brings to her practice life experience, compassion and expertise.
