In-Office Counselling Rates
A flat fee will be charged for each one hour in-office counselling session.
Our Counselling sessions are by Appointment Only.
Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Debit card or Cheques are acceptable methods of payment.
It is our policy that each in-office session is paid for at the conclusion of that session. If for any reason we have to cancel an in-office session we will give you 24 hours notice and will reschedule at a time convenient for you. We require our clients to give us 24 hours notice of any cancellation. Failure to do so may result in your being billed for missed sessions and an invoice may be issued. Two missed sessions without notice and counselling will be suspended pending a discussion with the counsellor.
If paying by cheque, a $30.00 fee will be charged for any N.S.F. Cheque and the client will be asked to pay either by cash or debit card.
We offer flexible appointment times throughout the day, or evening / weekend appointments are available for your convenience.

Tele-Counselling Rates
A flat hourly fee will be charged for tele-counselling with no added long distance in Canada or the United States.
Our present policy is that Tele-Counselling sessions shall be paid for in advance immediately prior to each session by way of Visa or Mastercard transaction. In the future, depending on the volume of tele-counselling sessions, other methods of payment will be considered. Please click here to learn more about this option.

Your privacy is important to us at NorthOkanaganCounselling.ca (referred to as "we" or "us" in this policy) and the purpose of this policy is to tell you what personal information we collect about you and how we use it.
Personal Information
All information received by this office is confidential. All client files and client related information are kept in a secure area as per the privacy act of British Columbia. There are, however, certain instances wherein the counsellor is bound, by law, to divulge information. Those instances are as follows:
- Client informing the counsellor about suicidal ideation or homicidal ideation
- Client reporting any suspicion of child abuse or neglect
- The counsellor and/or the counselor's records being subpoenaed into court (in Canada Only)
